How to Burn Fat Quickly

May 31st, 2009 |
Burn Fat
Janine Murphy asked:

There is a revolutionary new diet which deals with negative calories and fat burning compatible foods.  Why is this diet catching on quickly?  Because many people are looking for a fast way to burn fat, AND THIS DIET WORKS FOR THAT!!!.  This article will explain how this diet works, and how you should eat to lose fat quickly.

1.         FAT BURNING COMPATIBLE FOODS AND HOW THEY WORK:              What this means is, these foods have the ability to speed up the calorie burning process in your body and boost your metabolism speed.  They are high in water and fiber content, and at the same time, they are low in fats.  Food types like these require your body to create a calorie deficit which increases your fat loss speed.  They cause your body to use up more calories to break down which is more than the calories provided by the foods.

 2.            SMALL LIST OF FAT BURNING COMPATIBLE FOODS:  There are all kinds of ranges of fat burning foods.  These can range from fruits, vegetables, fish, meats, and spices.  These foods include pepper, lean beef, turkey, tuna, salmon, green tea, pineapples, oranges, green beans, onions, broccoli, cabbage, oatmeal and whole grain cereals.  All the above are readily available in most grocery stores.  These foods can be easily purchased at most grocery stores, thus making food shopping for this diet fast and easy.

3.            CALORIE SHIFTING IS THE SECRET:  Want to burn fats quickly?  Then calorie shifting is the answer.  Simply defined, calorie shifting is a certain way to eat which involves eating radically different types of calories at every meal (or shifting the calories) in 4 specific times every day.  The concept works this way.  When you eat these foods in these specific times, your brain (which controls the fat-burning process) is triggered to produce more fat burning hormones!  Learn more about the calorie shifting method to burn fat by following the link listed below, at the end of this article.

4.         HOW DOES THIS BURN FAT?  This revolutionary diet works because it causes your body to increase metabolism, which as we all know is key to burning fat.  What happens in this process is your body has to burn more fats and energy stores.  And, the great thing about this diet is the wide variety of foods to eat so that you have a choice.  These foods are called negative calorie foods and you can usually eat as much of them as you want, until you are full, since they have no caloric limits.

Want to start burning fats today for quick and rapid weight loss?  This new diet guarantees you to lose 9 pounds in 11 days!!!  And you rest up on the 12th through 14th days.  And, it is receiving rave reviews for working!  Wouldn’t it be nice to have a 25-pound weight loss every month until you reach your desired goal?  The only thing waiting between a new you and staying the same is if you X out of this article without going any further.  Go on…give it a try…it is well worth the small investment to change your lifestyle today!

The Best Way To Burn Fat: 4 Critical Reasons Why Protein Is One Of The Most Valuable Nutrients

May 31st, 2009 |
Burn Fat
Maria Cronk asked:

Here is the most efficient and fastest way to burn fat and grow muscle. If you want that lean ripped **** 6 pack body then eating lean protein with each meal is vital. Most people only think of what they have to cut out of their diet like processed foods, sugary snacks, pizza and chips. Yes this is necessary but we need to think about what we are consuming as well. Lean protein is one key nutrient.

Protein Benefits….. Protein is crucial with helping your body function at its greatest level. Protein is vital for the healthy growth of muscle tissue, cells, developing antibodies to protect you from illnesses, healthy skin, eyes and so much more.

Protein is not stored in your body like other nutrients such as carbohydrates so it is important to consume protein constantly and frequently. Protein is the foundation for a healthy and fit body. 4 Reasons Why Every Meal You Consume Should Include Protein.

1. It’s Tasty. This is important to me and I’m sure to you as well. We won’t continue with something that does not taste good. Some examples of tasty healthy protein would be… Turkey, peanut butter, nuts, salmon and lean beef. These are foods you can stick with and adopt them into your lifestyle.

2. Protein Burns Calories Your body needs to breakdown the food to get the required energy. This causes your body to burn calories. Because protein is more difficult to digest and break down then carbohydrates or fat it pushes this breakdown “thermal effect” into high gear. Your body burns more calories digesting protein.

3. Hungry Stays Away Longer. Yea!!! Studies have proven that meals with protein will make you feel fuller fastest and keep you satisfied longer. This will greatly help with you food cravings and help keep them under control.

4. Protein Builds Muscle and Helps Burn Body Fat All Day Muscle burns fat. After weight training your muscles are torn. The protein comes to the rescue and gives your muscles new protein to repair the muscle tissue. It builds new muscle fibers which in turns burns fat. This process can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours.

If you weight train 3 days a week this will keep your body in a constant fat burning mode. There are so many health benefits of protein. If you want to supercharge your fat loss and build muscle faster, then you can see why your goal should include protein in each meal.

Can Weight Training Burn Fat

May 30th, 2009 |
Burn Fat
A.J James asked:

Can weight training burn fat?

Yes it most certainly can!

One of the least known things about resistance training is that it will help you to burn fat well and truly after you have finished your workout.

Just about everyone knows the value of aerobic training for losing weight and often the first thing someone starting a fitness regime will do is jog, run or hit the aerobics class.

While aerobic activities are great for assisting you to lose fat, often your muscles will shrink at the same time - this is a terrible thing, because your muscles are what burn the fat.

Also known as resistance training, using weight training can significantly improve fat loss in both men and women.

Why can it help burn fat?

Muscle is the body’s fat burning furnace and it stands to reason that we don’t want to shrink our major fat burning tool.

One of the keys is to ensure adequate protein intake - increasing your protein will stop your muscles getting smaller from protein degradation.

The best way to improve the effects of your aerobic activities is to use resistance training. Weight training helps to strengthen your muscles and prevent muscle loss. With intense weight training you can even create nice dense tight muscles that not only look appealing, but they burn fat like an industrial machine.

What Are The Benefits Of Weight Training?

Better Posture

Mood Elevation

Fat Loss

A Better Metabolic Resting Rate

Strengthened Bones

Better Blood Pressure

Increased Strength

These are just some of the many rewards that resistance training can bestow upon those who practice it.

What Exercises Should I Do?

If you have decided that you like the idea of increasing your fat loss potential by building some muscle, then you may want to know where to start. The best exercises you can do are the basic ones that you probably already know a little bit about.

Exercises such as: Bench Press, Squats, Lunges, Dips and Barbell curls are great because they incorporate many muscle groups, giving you the best possible reward for your time and effort.

Eating more protein is important if you are resistance training, because your body will need more protein to help build your new fat burning muscle machine.

Will Weight Training Make Women Huge?

The resounding answer is NO, women will not get big from training with weights unless they have the very specific desire to do so.

Men have high levels of testosterone, which women only produce a small amount of and the truth is most large muscular ladies take testosterone boosters.

Women have to have like a professional body builder to get big - it’s that simple.

Women benefit immensely from resistance training, they develop beautiful curves and tight, toned bodies. Tight bodies are conducive to fat loss, so it is more than just an idea - weight training is the answer.

Give weight training a try and you’ll feel tighter, stronger and better than you ever have.

You’ll also burn more fat when you rest and when you sleep.

Burn Fats Faster In 6 Easy Steps

May 30th, 2009 |
Burn Fat
Kelvin Ho asked:

We all know that metabolism refers to the way our body uses the calories from the food we eat and breaks them into energy. Probably, you may also know that our metabolic rate decreases with age at about 5-10 percent every decade. However, do you know that you can keep your metabolism at optimal levels for several decades? By keeping your metabolism at an optimal level, you will be able to burn fat faster and obtain a leaner body.

Here are 6 proven steps to get you started.

1. Interval Training

Your metabolism usually returns to its normal state soon after a moderate aerobic workout. To help your body burn more calories long after your workout, you can add interval training to your routine. Interval training is where you add bursts of high intensity moves into your workout. For example, if your current routine is jogging, add a 30 seconds sprint every 5 minutes. If you are on the treadmill, add 1 minute incline every 5 minutes. Research has shown that high intensity interval training burns more fats compared to consistent aerobic exercise.

2. Have Your Breakfast

To succeed in weight loss, you need to eat your breakfast. Studies show that your metabolic rate slows as you sleep and the process of digestion can rev it up again. Again, remember that if your metabolic rate is high, you have a better chance against the fats. Of course, you should have a healthy and balanced breakfast while you are at it.

3. Lift Weights

Believe it or not, weight training can help burn your calories fast. This is because an increase in muscle tissue causes a corresponding increase in our metabolic rate. Adding weight training to your cardio routine will boost your metabolism as a result of muscle growth.

4.Drink Water

Drinking water can help increase your body calories burning capability. When your body is dehydrated, your body’s ability to burn calories decrease by 2 percent each day. One study even found that metabolic rate can increase by 30 percent after drinking half a litre of water.

5. Keep That Body Moving

If you are able to, divide your workout into 2 20-minute sessions. Your metabolism will probably rev up for an hour after each workout. This means that you will burn more calories than if you had just one session. If your schedule does not allow, go for 5 minutes of activity instead such as climbing stairs or brisk walking. A 5-minute walk every hour can mean an extra 200 calories burned each day.

6. Get Enough Sleep

Without getting enough sleep, your body may lack the energy to do its normal everyday functions and this includes calories burning. In addition, many people who lose sleep may feel hungry despite having enough food intake. This could be due to the fact that sleep loss has been shown to affect the release of cortisol, a hormone that regulates appetite. So if you can, get 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night.

As you can see, these 6 steps are not difficult to implement. Apply them in your daily life and you can expect more energy and a more beautiful body in you.

Do Certain Foods Burn Fat?

May 30th, 2009 |
Burn Fat
Rob - The Fired Up Nutritionist - Corbett asked:

Hey Gang Rob The Fired Up Nutritionist Here Again!!

Ok do certain foods burn fat…….. This is always a fun question to ask and even more so to hear the responses from people!!

The question of do certain foods burn fat, is responsible for all those ridiculous diets on the market such as the cabbage soup diet and the grapefruit diet!

I have even heard the silly saying “A Grapefruit a day keeps the fat a way”!!

So seriously… when people ask do certain foods burn fat……. What does that mean, do they think the foods themselves FIRE UP the fat and burn it down?? If so no no!! They do not!

So if you were thinking…. “Ok I have heard that certain foods burn fat, so all I have to do is make sure to eat that food a few times a day and poof there goes the fat”…. Then I **** to be the one to burst your bubble but it will not happen….

However what does happen is that in a way certain foods burn fat by giving you more energy and speeding up your metabolism….. What happens when you have more energy?? You what? Move More!

Now what happens when you move more?? You Burn Fat Quicker! So yes I guess in a way certain foods do burn fat!

The certain foods that burn fat that most people talk about are the citrus fruits, such as grape fruit, oranges and even lemons and limes!

Now would I depend on just eating an orange or two a day to burn my fat! That’s a big negative!!

But what the heck it can not hurt, so throw some citrus fruit into your daily diet and get moving more!

Another way to look at the question do certain foods burn fat is to understand that food combinations and when you eat your meals can also speed up your metabolism and burn more fat.

On this note what you should focus on doing is eating 5-6 smaller balanced meals through out the day. So instead of chomping down on 3 big meals and then snacking away all night……

Have a breakfast, then a mid morning snack, then lunch, a mid afternoon snack, dinner, then an evening snack….

And the best case scenario would be to have a protein source and a carbohydrate source in each of those meals and during your main meals added a healthy fat source such as almonds to it.

And example of a balanced breakfast could be two boiled eggs and your grapefruit or a side of all grain toast for example.

A great snack that I enjoy is cottage cheese mixed with your favorite flavored yogurt.

Even the odd protein bar a few times a week makes for a great snack.

So do certain foods burn fat? I guess the answer is yes and no. When studying this question I would focus more on when to eat my meals and my portion sizes verses the question do foods burn fat. You will see better results!

Burn Fat and Keep it Off

May 26th, 2009 |
Burn Fat
Robert Spencer asked:

There is a lot of information available to you on the Internet on how to burn fat; but not all of it is accurate.

You may have tried the most recent fad diets available on the Internet with varying degrees of success. Some allowed you to drop a few pounds; others were not worth the time it took to download. To burn fat and lose weight successfully, knowledge is more powerful than any diet pill or fad diet.

If you want to burn fat and lose weight, you need to learn a few simple ideas.

First, you need to know how your body and your metabolism works when it comes to burning fat to lose weight.

Second, you need to understand how the foods you eat contribute to weight gain or help your burn fat.

Third, you need combine those first two facts with a realistic plan to allow you to burn body fat and lose weight consistently.  And keep that weight off once you have lost it.

To burn fat successfully, keep in mind some simple mathematics. You have to burn more calories than you take in; it is as simple as that. Calories burned through activity and exercise minus calories taken in from the food you eat will determine whether you gain or lose weight.

If you focus on foods that actually burn fat, or foods that burn more calories through digestion than you take in from eating them, you will see a net calorie deficit.  If you burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight.

So no matter what the newest diet fat is, or how many promises they make, it all comes down to one thing. To lose weight successfully, you need to be burning calories.

To burn fat, you need to know how your body and your metabolism work when it comes to processing food. And you need to know those foods that are “fat burning compatible”; or which foods kick up your metabolism and burn more calories than you take in.

What is a fat burning compatible food? One of nature’s most perfect foods is one you can get everyday at the store; or out in the yard if you’re lucky. An apple is a perfect example of a fat burning compatible (or “negative calorie”) food.

Why? Because a medium sized apple has about 187 calories that your body takes in when you eat it. However, your body will burn about 300 calories simply by digesting the apple you’ve just eaten.

So if you eat a medium sized apple (red delicious, Granny Smith, whatever) you are burning more calories than you are taking in. And there are dozens of regular foods that are fat burning compatible; and they are foods that taste great as well.

So if you learn a new way of eating fat burning compatible foods in a particular combination over a period of five or six days, you can actually burn fat and lose weight simply by eating.

Burn Fat Fast With a Little Variety

May 25th, 2009 |
Burn Fat
Robert Spencer asked:

There are too many times during any body fat burning program when your results come to a screeching halt.

You may have found an excellent program that burns fat fast in the first couple of days; but suddenly, your rapid weight loss stops, and you cannot figure out why since you are doing the exact same things as before.

What has happened is that you have hit a “weight loss plateau”. This happens when the program that you have been using that has shown such great results runs into your body fat burning nemesis; your metabolism.

You metabolism is a crafty little beast, and it adapts to any changes in diet and fat burning in a very short amount of time. Your body will adapt to any new fat burning or exercise program in a short amount of time.

When your body adjusts to the new fat burning program you are using, you will hit the weight loss plateau. And when you hit that plateau, you will see a significant drop in your body fat burning results.

Here is one simple tip to insure that you will keep your metabolism guessing; and help you break thru any weight loss plateau that you may have hit and continue to burn fat fast.

Add a little variety to your workouts.

If you do the exact same workout every time you hit the gym, your body will adapt to it; and eventually, you will stop burning body fat even if you workout for the same amount of time.

So if you bike one day, try jogging or swimming the next. If you weight train from the shoulders down every time you hit the gym, why not reverse it the next day? Start with your legs and work your way up.

The idea is to keep your body guessing as to what is going to come next. If you do, your metabolism will not adapt to your new exercise or body fat burning program.

So break the routine that you have been accustomed to; not only will you keep your body guessing, but you will also keep boredom at bay as well.

And you will start to burn fat fast once again; just like you did when you first started your program.
