Healthy Eating and Super Food - 3 Food Categories That Help Burn Fat

June 28th, 2009 |
Yuki Shoji asked:

I’m wondering if you’re already aware of what I’m about to share with you? There is some good news for people trying to lose fat and slim down to a healthier and more attractive lifestyle: there are actually foods you can eat with will burn fat for you with any effort on your part. Even better, they can easily be assimilated into any diet; in fact, you may already be eating them on a regular basis and not even know it.

These types of foods actually burn more calories than their own caloric content. They are natural plant food and certain dairy items, and they are as follows:

Foods That Help Burn Fat #1: Citrus

These foods include limes, lemons, grapefruit, tangerines, and oranges. To get the most benefit from them you need to eat them in their freshest form, which means all by themselves. Don’t attempt to cut them up and use them for a marinade because you will lose the calorie burning benefits. In addition, don’t assume drinking them in juice form will work. Most juices bought at the store are filled with preservatives that negate the calorie burning benefits.

Foods That Help Burn Fat #2: Fruits and Vegetables

Not just any fruits and vegetables though, but fruits and vegetables that are rich in Cellulose. These include watermelon, cabbage, asparagus, carrots, broccoli, apples, and blueberries. Again, remember that certain food preparation can negate the calorie burning benefits of these foods, especially when it comes to the vegetables. To fully achieve the best benefits from vegetables you should only steam them. In addition, don’t slather them in butter for taste.

Foods That Help Burn Fat #3: Dairy

Unlike the other foods mentioned above, which you can eat as much of as you want, you have to ingest dairy in moderation. These products include low-fat milk, low-fat yogurt, and white cheese. Make sure and follow the recommended daily allowance on the package closely. Dairy products can be helpful in burning calories, but they also contain other nutrients that you don’t want to get too much of, such as carbohydrates.

While eating these foods alone will help you burn calories, if you really want to exacerbate their effects you should combine an exercise routine with the diet. This way you get twice the calorie burning effects. In order to lose one pound per week it is a scientific fact that a person must cut their caloric intake by as much as 500 calories per day. This can be hard to do, but if you work out at least 30 minutes a day and eat these fat burning foods, the process becomes much easier. You’ll find that you’re less hungry and that you also feel much better about yourself.

Living healthy and looking attractive are goals that everybody can obtain. It is not food that is the enemy, but the food choices people make. And by making the food choice above, people are making the right decision for reaching these goals.

How to Burn Fat Quickly

May 31st, 2009 |
Burn Fat
Janine Murphy asked:

There is a revolutionary new diet which deals with negative calories and fat burning compatible foods.  Why is this diet catching on quickly?  Because many people are looking for a fast way to burn fat, AND THIS DIET WORKS FOR THAT!!!.  This article will explain how this diet works, and how you should eat to lose fat quickly.

1.         FAT BURNING COMPATIBLE FOODS AND HOW THEY WORK:              What this means is, these foods have the ability to speed up the calorie burning process in your body and boost your metabolism speed.  They are high in water and fiber content, and at the same time, they are low in fats.  Food types like these require your body to create a calorie deficit which increases your fat loss speed.  They cause your body to use up more calories to break down which is more than the calories provided by the foods.

 2.            SMALL LIST OF FAT BURNING COMPATIBLE FOODS:  There are all kinds of ranges of fat burning foods.  These can range from fruits, vegetables, fish, meats, and spices.  These foods include pepper, lean beef, turkey, tuna, salmon, green tea, pineapples, oranges, green beans, onions, broccoli, cabbage, oatmeal and whole grain cereals.  All the above are readily available in most grocery stores.  These foods can be easily purchased at most grocery stores, thus making food shopping for this diet fast and easy.

3.            CALORIE SHIFTING IS THE SECRET:  Want to burn fats quickly?  Then calorie shifting is the answer.  Simply defined, calorie shifting is a certain way to eat which involves eating radically different types of calories at every meal (or shifting the calories) in 4 specific times every day.  The concept works this way.  When you eat these foods in these specific times, your brain (which controls the fat-burning process) is triggered to produce more fat burning hormones!  Learn more about the calorie shifting method to burn fat by following the link listed below, at the end of this article.

4.         HOW DOES THIS BURN FAT?  This revolutionary diet works because it causes your body to increase metabolism, which as we all know is key to burning fat.  What happens in this process is your body has to burn more fats and energy stores.  And, the great thing about this diet is the wide variety of foods to eat so that you have a choice.  These foods are called negative calorie foods and you can usually eat as much of them as you want, until you are full, since they have no caloric limits.

Want to start burning fats today for quick and rapid weight loss?  This new diet guarantees you to lose 9 pounds in 11 days!!!  And you rest up on the 12th through 14th days.  And, it is receiving rave reviews for working!  Wouldn’t it be nice to have a 25-pound weight loss every month until you reach your desired goal?  The only thing waiting between a new you and staying the same is if you X out of this article without going any further.  Go on…give it a try…it is well worth the small investment to change your lifestyle today!

The Best Way To Burn Fat: 4 Critical Reasons Why Protein Is One Of The Most Valuable Nutrients

May 31st, 2009 |
Burn Fat
Maria Cronk asked:

Here is the most efficient and fastest way to burn fat and grow muscle. If you want that lean ripped **** 6 pack body then eating lean protein with each meal is vital. Most people only think of what they have to cut out of their diet like processed foods, sugary snacks, pizza and chips. Yes this is necessary but we need to think about what we are consuming as well. Lean protein is one key nutrient.

Protein Benefits….. Protein is crucial with helping your body function at its greatest level. Protein is vital for the healthy growth of muscle tissue, cells, developing antibodies to protect you from illnesses, healthy skin, eyes and so much more.

Protein is not stored in your body like other nutrients such as carbohydrates so it is important to consume protein constantly and frequently. Protein is the foundation for a healthy and fit body. 4 Reasons Why Every Meal You Consume Should Include Protein.

1. It’s Tasty. This is important to me and I’m sure to you as well. We won’t continue with something that does not taste good. Some examples of tasty healthy protein would be… Turkey, peanut butter, nuts, salmon and lean beef. These are foods you can stick with and adopt them into your lifestyle.

2. Protein Burns Calories Your body needs to breakdown the food to get the required energy. This causes your body to burn calories. Because protein is more difficult to digest and break down then carbohydrates or fat it pushes this breakdown “thermal effect” into high gear. Your body burns more calories digesting protein.

3. Hungry Stays Away Longer. Yea!!! Studies have proven that meals with protein will make you feel fuller fastest and keep you satisfied longer. This will greatly help with you food cravings and help keep them under control.

4. Protein Builds Muscle and Helps Burn Body Fat All Day Muscle burns fat. After weight training your muscles are torn. The protein comes to the rescue and gives your muscles new protein to repair the muscle tissue. It builds new muscle fibers which in turns burns fat. This process can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours.

If you weight train 3 days a week this will keep your body in a constant fat burning mode. There are so many health benefits of protein. If you want to supercharge your fat loss and build muscle faster, then you can see why your goal should include protein in each meal.

*Another major reason why some individuals put on weight is because of the high sugar consumption or simply because the sugar level in their blood is naturally high and causes them to gain weight, some high sugar levels and kinds of sugars cause diabetes which is a big factor and a big problem behind unwanted weight gain

There are plenty more reasons why people gain unwanted weight and what some call it become fat or obese, so what can we do about it? Does Every Diet Work?

March 11th, 2009 |
diets that work
Tom Chuong asked:

Many people wonder about diets. Do they actually work? Today, there are hundreds of diets that people claim do not work.

Changing the way you eat can help you lose your weight. Organic and raw foods are great sources for knocking off the extra pounds. Are these diets long term or temporary? Well, when you are first starting a diet, make sure you ease into it slowly. Your metabolism tends to slow down, letting your body adjust to the change. Loss of energy is a downside to starting diets.

Fatigue sets in and so does depression. Everyone says that starting a diet is not fun. Instead of losing fat, you lose more of your body muscles and water. Most people, after reaching their goal of weight lose, stop their diet. So, it is clear to say that they will just put the lost weight back on. Diets are hard to stick to, for it is not easy changing your eating behavior. Diets are only temporary outlooks for losing weight.

The best way to keep the pounds off is by exercise. Exercising is a more efficient weight loss method. By increasing your aerobics routine, you set yourself up for more long-term effects. You should make sure if you start a diet, you work on getting fit too.

It is best to say that dieting may work for some people. If you want long-term success, you need great self-discipline and control. Dieting is a good lifestyle change. However, unfortunately it can only provide temporary results. Steady exercise is the key to long-term happiness.

How Does the Zone Diet Work? - the Answer May Surprise You

March 7th, 2009 |
diets that work
Michael Fisher asked:

The Zone diet is one of the most popular diets on the market today, mainly because many celebrities use it, and this automatically makes it a fashionable diet in today’s society. However, just because your favorite celebrity swears by a diet plan, it does not mean that it’s the right diet for you. It has been said that the Zone diet is the polar opposite of a vegetarian diet. This is curious, considering that vegetarians are generally healthy and are less likely to suffer from heart disease. Another concept in the Zone Diet is the natural maintenance of eicosanoids. These are hormone like compounds formed by body tissues during self-healing responses to stimuli. So How does the Zone Diet work?

The Zone Diet is based upon a 40/30/30 theory and popularized in books by biochemist Barry Sears. These numbers indicate that 40% of calories should be from carbs, 30% from protein, and 30% from fats. The Zone Diet is based on the concept of achieving a balance of insulin. By controlling the balance of insulin in the body with the Zone Diet, you increase the loss of fat (weight loss), increase blood flow, increase your physical and mental stamina, and decrease the likelihood of heart disease and diabetes.

The Zone Diet is not as restrictive as many of the other low carb diets on the market today, but it is very hard to follow and stick with the plan. Sears used the word zone to describe the hormone balance in human body where insulin and glucagon level are neither too low nor to high, then specific anti-inflammatory chemicals. The AHA believes that the Zone Diet is hazardous as it restricts the intake of essential vitamins and minerals present in certain foods. They also contend that the protein ratio in the Zone diet is too high even if the minimal fat ratio is good. This is another reason that the Plan may not be good for you. There are other plans on the market that are better for you and wont cost you an arm and a leg.

Wondering Which Diet Works Best?

February 26th, 2009 |
diets that work
John Parks asked:

You may have decided to finally get rid of that extra five or ten pounds, or maybe you have more to lose. Whether you need to lose one pound or fifty, how you do it will determine how long you keep it off and how healthy you are once you’ve achieved your goal weight.

When you pick the type of weight loss program you want to use, it’s best to study several different types. One that works for your best friend may not have the same results for you, as every body is different. You might want to start with a website like www.dietmicroblog.com to research the most popular diets and find one that is good for your body type and temperament.

Diets low in carbohydrates enjoyed huge popularity a few years ago and are still used by many people for their quick weight loss. The Atkins Diet, the Zone Diet, the South Beach diet all are designed to cut down your carbohydrate intakes. So what’s so special about carbs?

Carbs are sugars, plain and simple. Some, like the carbohydrates in whole grains, are beneficial and are used by the body for energy. They other type of carb is refined sugar, an empty calorie with no nutritional benefit that will harm your body but tastes wonderful. Reducing or eliminating refined sugar from your diet does most of the work for you!

But if carbohydrates make people gain weight, why not just cut all of them out, the good with the bad? Some people have found out the hard way that eliminating all carbohydrates is unhealthy and even dangerous. When there are no carbs to burn the body begins burning fat, a process called ketosis. Just what we are after, right? Well, that depends. Consuming protein in the place of carbohydrates is good to a point but if the balance is tipped too heavily to the protein side, ketosis can cause kidney failure because of the stress protein puts upon them.

Eating protein in place of healthy carbohydrates can also raise a person’s cholesterol levels. A diet that consists of a lot of dairy products, red meat and other foods high in fat can cause your cholesterol-and the chance of heart disease-to skyrocket. Eating abnormal amounts of protein can also produce kidney stones and increase the chances of osteoporosis.

High protein diets can be good for you if you consume at least 100 grams of healthy, whole grain carbohydrates per day. Your weight loss might be slower but you’ll retain your health and your chances of keeping the weight off are much greater when you eat a balanced diet that includes both carbs and protein.

Does The Banana Diet Work - Banana Diet Review? Does It Really Work? Find Out!

February 25th, 2009 |
diets that work
Alex Mckenzie asked:

So maybe you heard or read something about the banana diet and you’re wondering does the banana diet work for effective weight loss? I’m going to reveal to you today exactly what the banana diet is and whether it actually provides the results that have been rumored to come as a result of it.

So What is the Banana Diet Anyway?

Essentially what it involves is eating a breakfast of only warm water and as many fresh bananas as you would like. Following this you are able to eat whatever you want for lunch and dinner. Now if there was something more to it then perhaps this diet could be successful in some form, as of now though it is potentially the greatest fad and fake diet I might add to appear in a number of years. At least in the apple diet you ate apples all day and it worked off of the negative calorie diet system, although flawed it could work theoretically. This diet however is absolute garbage and not worth the time to even bother reading about it.

Help Me, What Diet Can I Try That Works?

Have you ever heard of the diet system known as calorie shifting? Essentially it involves eating throughout the day as you normally would, however the types of foods you eat at each meal are specific to stimulate your metabolism at that time. Basically the end result of this diet is that you stimulate your metabolism whenever you eat, even following the diet so you continue to lose weight. Its not so much of a diet as a system of changing a persons metabolism from slow to fast. It is highly effective and very easy to follow with software programs that will tell you exactly what to eat based one what you ate the day before.
