Any suggestions to add to my workout routine for burning more fat?
July 3rd, 2009 |I am a 26 year old male. Im 6’2” & 200lbs. I’m very athletic. I just started back in the gym a month ago, from a 6 month layoff, and Im looking for suggestions that I can implement in my workout to help me burn fat more effectively.
Diet…my diet is very strict. Im on a high protein, low carb/low fat diet. I’m eating about 5 times a day(egg whites, grilled chicken breast, lean turkey, whey protein,etc…all the good stuff). I am drinking plenty of water also. So Im not concerned with my diet so much. Ive got it under control.
Workout…Im working out 4-6 days per week. I start with 10 minutes on the treadmill , running about a mile. Then I workout for about an hour lifting weights. Then I hit the treadmill one more time for another 10 minute run, for about a mile.
Lookin 4 suggestions in my overall routine to help me just burn a little fat. Basically to tone up really well. Right now Im in pretty good shape, but not quite as lean or defined as Id like. Thanks for your suggestions!
